Description
Problem : MBB customer’s discounts were not being removed creating a revenue leakage risk of approx. 1.1mil. The manual process ran month-end using a DP to recoup costs
Solution : Automated the DP,was in real time. Zero errors and improved customer experience. Saved on DP process cost. The Bot would identify the MBB contracts, search to see if the discount was applied. If not, it would go to the Eppix table, find the discount for that acc and MSISDN and apply the discount and then process the order.
Dev Savings  : R400 000 (Siebel-50MD/Online -10MD/Eppix-20MD) plus 1 resource X1 day per month= 405 000 – Cost of Resource and time
